VEGE, based in Spijkenisse, the Netherlands, has been a supplier for remanufactured products since 1936. VEGE Motorer Norden AB is VEGE's Swedish sales office for the Nordic countries.
Similar, factory owned, sales offices can be found in Germany, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands.

At the heart of VEGE's activities lies the recycling of petrol and diesel engines. VEGE can supply fully remanufactured engines , short blocks , gearboxes, cylinder heads , turbo chargers, diesel injection pumps and injectors on request and from stock, for practically every make and type of passenger car and light commercial vehicle.

The world's car park is changing faster than ever before. Just 20 years ago car manufacturers would develop an engine that would be used in their production for years. This practice allowed engine remanufacturer's to gear up for volume production and meant replacement engines were readily available in the aftermarket.

Things have changed, massively. Car manufacturers now change engine families every few years, the result ....it is almost impossible for remanufacturing specialists to research & develop a comprehensive range new engine types. In order to fulfill the demand for replacement engines, VEGE have launched a new service, branded EcoXchange; an alterative supply solution for the newer 'hard to find' units that our customers demand.

EcoXchange has access to a pan -European stock of over 10,000 units at any one time. Stocking levels change daily and our specially designed computer systems are geared to make the difficult job of sourcing those hard to find units as easy and as quick as possible. Our stock is a mixture of used units from accident damaged vehicles, low mileage repaired units, fully remanufactured and in some cases, brand new; surplus stock we have sourced from specialist sources.
